Sun Salute
Here's a pic of the "salad bowl" we planted a week or so ago. Hopefully it will soon provide us with some fresh salads. I love the way the tiny sprouts reach out toward the sunlight.

Sorry if I sound like a know it all. I just think it's interesting info.
The apparent movement of plants towards the sun is called phototropism. The plant actually sends growth hormones to the shady side of the plant so the dark side grows more which makes the plant lean towards the light. Useless info, but true.

Great pictures!! My lettuce won't sprout and I'm not sure why....
