Fall is my favorite canning season!!

Because Fall is when the apples are on sale at our local grocery. Final count...18 jars of applesauce! One batch each of cranberry applesauce, chunky apple pie spiced applesauce, and skinny applesauce (applesauce with skins included :)

I went a little wild making applesauce this year too! The pretty apples were just too tempting to pass up! Your jars are beautiful!

I love the name skinny applesauce. Does that make it guilt free? That and cranberry would probably go quickly with my bunch.

Looks good! I'll bet the cranberry is goooood.
I think you need a local farmer who is willing to let you pick some apples for free next time!!! Or maybe you plan to plant some on your land?

All Natural Mama: We've planted two apple trees, but we're waiting for them to begin producing. We're in the same boat on pear, apricot, peach, and pecan trees as well. Some folks around here have fruit trees (unfortunately not many), but we got a late freeze that took out all the fruit in our region..including the pick-your-own places we usually go down in Northern Texas.

Ooh ooh ooh! Totally off topic, but I can't find your email at the moment....DH is defending in December, so he's looking for jobs and Stillwater is one of the possibilities!
